Our Vintaged Fortified Shiraz is a ruby port style wine vintaged from shiraz grown on Hooker’s Vineyard in the Swan Valley. The ripe fruit was crushed and fermented on skins for 2 days before fortification to create a rich sweet fruited wine. It was then aged for 18 months in small oak casks to allow the wine to soften and the fruit and spirit flavours to integrate and mellow.
