Crafted from fruit sourced from Karribrook Vineyard – on the boundary where the massive forests of Western Australia’s southwest corner meet the bountiful Manjimup horticultural region.  Manjimup is known for its mild weather, with cool wet winters and warm dry summers.  The soils are a mix of deep and rich red and gravelly loams.   This cool climate has proven ideal for Pinot Noir grapes.

The fruit was fermented with a blend of crushed and whole bunches to achieve a balance of fruit, stalk and carbonic maceration flavours, then aged for 7 months in older hogsheads.  The result is a complex savoury medium bodied style of Pinot Noir.  Aromas and flavours of red berries, cherry fruit, dried herbs and pepper.  It is immediately appealing, rich and delicious.
