2017 Donnybrook Durif
We take a very small parcel of fruit from the Mandalay Road vineyard in Donnybrook to create this succulent wine. Aged in hogsheads for 15 months to soften and integrate before bottling and release. The resulting wine is dark, rich, and generous with distinct blackberry fruit characters and a full, fleshy, sweet fruited palate. Although finishing much softer than traditional interpretations, this wine is by no means a slouch!
